Privacy
This site is built to know as little about you as possible. The website shows this page as it's written here.
What you share
- Percentages only. You enter weight limits and holdings as percentages. You never enter dollar amounts, your name or account numbers.
- Price files you upload are public market data. They're used in memory for your one request and then thrown away.
- Tickers you type are sent to Yahoo Finance by this site's server to fetch prices. Yahoo sees which tickers were asked for, never your internet address, your holdings or your limits.
- Feedback, only if you send it. What you type in the feedback form is emailed to the site's maker, through an email-sending service (Resend). Nothing else goes with it: not your access code, items, holdings or settings. Your name and email are optional; give an email only if you'd like a reply. The site keeps no copy.
What the site keeps
- Nothing. Each request is worked out in memory and thrown away. There's no database, and no files are written.
- No tracking: no accounts, cookies, analytics or ad scripts.
- No logs. The site doesn't record requests, and doesn't record who used an access code or when.
- Your access link stays private. Pages tell your browser never to pass the link on to other sites.
- HTTPS protects every connection on the live site.
What no site can promise
- No hosted site can prove it collects nothing. You have to trust whoever runs it.
- The hosting company can still see your internet address at the edge of its network.
- The math runs on the site's server, not in your browser, so you can't check the code yourself. That keeps the code private.
